Cleon1 is a B2B contact intelligence platform in the same category as ContactOut, built for sales teams who need verified emails, phone numbers, and role data without leaving their prospecting workflow. Like ContactOut, Cleon1 combines a browser extension that enriches contacts while you browse with a web dashboard to search and filter leads at scale. Reps uncover work emails and direct dials on LinkedIn profiles or company sites in seconds, then build targeted lists by industry, title, and company for outbound campaigns.

The Product Challenge

Parallel Loop partnered with Cleon1 to engineer a full-stack sales intelligence product from the ground up. The business needed more than a contact database, it required a marketing landing page, a production-grade lead search dashboard, a Chrome extension that works on LinkedIn and arbitrary websites, a high-volume scraping layer to keep data fresh, AI-assisted email composition with automated follow-up workflows, CRM integrations, and an admin control plane to manage users and API token consumption. Competing products like ContactOut win on speed, data accuracy, and workflow integration; Cleon1 needed parity on enrichment speed plus differentiated AI outreach and transparent token-based billing via Stripe.

Phase 1: Chrome Extension, Landing Page & Lead Dashboard

We shipped a Chrome extension that surfaces contact intelligence wherever reps already work. On LinkedIn profiles or any company website, the extension returns email, phone, current role, profile summary, and decision-maker signals, mirroring the ContactOut-style overlay experience sales teams expect. Users add contacts to lists, copy details, or export without switching tabs.

The web dashboard lets teams search leads by industry with company filters and rich profile metadata. Reps see professional emails, direct phone numbers, current job titles, and firmographic context in one searchable interface. Our full-stack custom software engineering pod built the Next.js marketing landing page (SEO-optimized, conversion-focused) and the React.js operations dashboard on Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL for relational lead data, and MongoDB for enrichment payloads and session state, with Agenda Jobs scheduling sync and verification tasks in the background.

Phase 2: Scraper Fleet, AI Email Workflows & Admin Platform

We developed many dedicated Puppeteer scrapers routed through residential proxies to sustain high-volume, low-block-rate data collection. Each scraper targets specific sources and page structures; proxy rotation and queue orchestration keep enrichment pipelines resilient when target sites throttle datacenter IPs. Extracted data flows through normalization and verification stages before appearing in the extension or dashboard.

From the dashboard, users send personalized emails powered by AI and automate follow-up workflows. Our AI engineer integrated OpenAI and Hugging Face to draft context-aware outreach from lead profile data, with workflow rules for email responses and sequencing. Teams connect third-party CRMs such as HubSpot so enriched contacts and campaign activity sync bi-directionally. Stripe API handles subscriptions and usage-based token billing.

We also built an admin dashboard where platform operators manage users and monitor token consumption. Admins audit per-account usage, enforce limits, and support customers without touching production databases manually. Infrastructure runs on AWS EC2 with the same operational rigor we apply to custom AI workflow automation engagements.
