Custom Integrations. Bespoke system connections built for your business, not a generic template.

Custom Integrations for orgs whose stack does not fit into the Zapier or Workato template library. Bespoke connections between SaaS, ERP, CRM, billing systems, proprietary internal tools, and partner systems. Code-first. Idempotent. Observable. Owned by you. iPaaS-grade reliability without the iPaaS license, lock-in, or per-connection fees. Shipped in 3 to 10 weeks. USD pricing.

Tell us the systems you need connected, why a no-code tool will not work (or has already failed), and the data volume. Scoped plan plus quote within 3 business days.

Who we've built for.

How we work

Overview
Three phases from systems audit to live integration. We build integrations that you own, that survive vendor API changes, and that do not silently drop data when a 429 lands.
Step 1 — Scope and architecture
One to two weeks scoping. Systems audit (every source and destination, auth model, rate limits, schema stability, SLA, sandbox availability). Data model mapping. Event flow design. Error handling and reconciliation design. Observability requirements. Make-or-buy decision (custom vs Workato or Mulesoft).
Step 2 — Build in sprints
2 to 8 weeks build. Two-week sprints. Custom integration code in TypeScript, Python, or Go depending on stack. Queue infrastructure (BullMQ, SQS, Pub/Sub, or Kafka). Idempotency keys for every write. Reconciliation jobs nightly. Admin UI for non-technical operators to view sync status, replay failed events, and adjust field mappings. UAT in your sandbox.
Step 3 — Harden and launch
Less than 1 week launch. Production cutover with feature flag gate. Synthetic monitoring on critical flows. On-call runbook. Optional retainer for ongoing maintenance, new endpoint additions, and version bumps.

What we deliver. Custom Integrations

Architecture design

Integration architecture document covering data flow, system of record per entity, sync direction, conflict resolution rules, event triggers, retry policy, and reconciliation schedule. Reviewed and signed off before any code is written. Prevents the most expensive integration mistakes (wrong system of record, missing conflict rule, no reconciliation).

Code-first integration in TypeScript, Python, or Go

Custom integration code written in the language that fits your stack. Typed clients for every source and destination. Discriminated error types. Idempotency keys on every write. Configurable per-tenant or per-environment. Stored in your Git org, deployed via your CI/CD.

Queue and event infrastructure

BullMQ on Redis (Node), SQS with workers (any stack), Google Pub/Sub, or Kafka depending on scale. Dead letter queues. Per-queue concurrency. Backpressure handling. Worker autoscaling on AWS, GCP, Azure, or Render. Cron-based reconciliation jobs.

Admin UI for non-technical operators

Admin UI built in Next.js or Retool letting non-technical operators view sync status per entity, search by external ID, see error logs, manually replay failed events, and adjust field mappings without engineering involvement. Reduces ongoing engineering burden by 60 to 80 percent.

Reconciliation and drift detection

Nightly reconciliation jobs comparing source vs destination row counts and field-level diffs. Drift report emailed or Slacked. Auto-remediation rules for known drift patterns. Critical for two-way integrations where webhooks can miss events.

Observability and on-call runbook

OpenTelemetry traces. Datadog, Sentry, or Honeycomb integration. Per-integration dashboards: throughput, success rate, retry rate, dead letter count, P50 and P95 latency. PagerDuty or Opsgenie alerts on sustained anomalies. On-call runbook covering common failure modes and remediation steps.

Typical engagement ranges

Single custom integration

From $18,000

  • Single bespoke integration between two systems with admin UI, reconciliation, and observability.
  • Best for first custom integration or replacing a brittle Zapier flow.
  • 3 to 5 weeks.

Custom integration platform

From $60,000

  • Multi-integration platform with shared queue infrastructure, admin UI, reconciliation framework, and observability stack.
  • Best for orgs running 4 to 12 custom integrations.
  • 6 to 10 weeks.

Enterprise integration program

From $135,000

  • Enterprise-scale custom integration program with governance, multi-team workflow, GitOps deployment, SOC 2 control evidence, and on-call coverage.
  • Replacement for Mulesoft, Boomi, or Workato deployments. Best for enterprise orgs with 15 plus production integrations.
  • 12 to 18 weeks.

Indicative USD ranges. Final quote depends on system count, compliance scope, and event volume. Exact scope and pricing locked on the scoping call. Optional retainer for ongoing maintenance quoted separately.

FAQ

Use Zapier or Make for fewer than 10 simple triggers per day, no complex transformations, and no compliance requirements. Use Workato or Tray.io for medium-complexity workflows when your team is willing to manage recipes in their UI and pay $30k to $150k per year in license fees. Build custom when you have high event volume, complex business rules, custom conflict resolution, multi-tenant isolation, strict compliance, or per-connection license fees becoming the dominant cost.
